no but that kinda **** happens to me whenever I sell a car.

I had one kid come back at me 3mo later after he upped the boost and fried the turbo and subsequently motor on my Celica All Trac. he wanted me to pay for a new motor.. ha. >.<

 
there's a brat in my driveway!!! thanks so much Jason!!!! the p/s bracket was rattling all the way to sopo, I stopped at work and tightened it up, no more noise. also...

it has NO BALLS. I was in third gear going up the hill to moodys.. lol. I'm used to the xt.. ahahaha loving it, I got some guy yelling at me at the gas station "NICE BRAT!!!" and a lot of suby owners giving the nod of approval in wiscasset/bath. I love this thing.

 
LOL, awesome!!! Ya know I actually heard that thing rattling and forgot all about it. Good to hear you got it back together!! And yeah it is pretty gutless! You should do that EJ swap!!! Make sure you keep us updated on what you do to it. And thanks for the intercooler!! Haha, I forgot all about it, and when I got home it was sitting on my porch!! Thanks again and have fun with it!!

 
sure thing! working on the creeping transfer stick problem right now. almost seems like it had some viagra? lol.. looks like the relay rod to the trans is a tad short from the lift, causing it to drag on the body behind the tranny stick. should be an easy fix. Also, how did your other stick setup look? I looked at the linkage for a bit, and did some searching online, but couldn't really nail down how it needs to change. there's the rod you can see from under the hood, and then the rod from the transfer shifter to the transfer.. do you leave the rear one w/shifter alone and then tie into the front one for the 2nd stick? I've done this with older chev's-np205's, but obviously sube's are different

Yes use the front one for the 2nd shifter and leave the rear one attached to the stock $WD shifter. I had kind of a custom pivot point made up, but it just wasn't right

 
I see. so the front rod only controls hi/lo, and is operated from the inside of the trans when the rear rod is moved fully to the rear..? my buddy has a machine shop, and also loves suby's, might have him make up a pivot with steel sleeve/nylon bushing to build off of.

 
Yes the front rod is for hi/lo only.the front rod is connected to the spot on the tranny that also engages the 4WD, so if you disconnect the front rod, then you just connect that to your new shifter, and you will have one shifter that does 4WD/2WD, and the new one that does hi/lo
