Blew my turbo last night 2008 wrx. Of course, I'm just out of warranty, and id rather not buy one thru the dealership. Does anyone have or know where to find a VF52 or VF54? . Any help would be much appreciated

 
Nate has a td04 which is the replacement, with under 10k miles. unless you were looking into upgrading of course...

 
VF52 is the 09+ wrx turbo. If you got one it would take tuning to make work on your car (among other things). If you want a bolt in and go turbo for your 08 you need a td04. And yes I have one. PM in coming.

 
Those TD-04s don't seem to last long in the 2008s. Should I be concerned about the VF52 in my 2009? I am almost at 60,000 mi now. Anyone know? Sorry for the threadjack, just curious. I would assume the VF52, being larger, would not work as hard to build the same boost right?

 
Smaht arse. You know what I meant, it doesn't have to work as hard for the same effect but it takes a little longer to spool correct?
