Brake Squeaking!!!

Since I upgraded to bigger rims. Every time when the car is 5 sec away from a complete stop the breaks start squeaking. If anything im looking for some piece of mind. Is it because the brakes/ calipers are not good enough??? I just had the pads replaced with Hawk HPS pads and the rotors ground down last august. No rotor warping is going to occur right?

the brakes are good enough to stop the car, there is no question there. but I think it seems the new pads are possibly the cause of your squeak. if the brakes didnt squeak before you changed something, then by process of elimination, it has to be the pads. but should you be worried? not likely. unless the rotors were machined too thin. seeing as they were done jast august, they should be just fine. to help silence the squeak, take some grease, and put some on the pad, and the shims that go on pad. that's what I do on every brake job and I has yet to fail me.

pad compound can cause or rotor surface. may only be annoying, give them a once over to be sure no abnormal issues. Mine are ceramic and hella noisy if brakes are cold. there are some brake noise products out there... dont know if any work...
