Car Dolly vs. Car Trailer

Can I assume a car dolly would be a very poor decision for an AWD vehicle? Just want to make sure...

yes. AWD goes on flatbed only.

If you unbolt the driveshaft from the rear diff, then hang the driveshaft up so it doesn't dangle down on the road. You could dolly it.
