Car lowering spring question

So i was just thinking, and quite curious, but what would be the outcome of putting lowering springs on your car, but not putting on new struts? Would i need a strut to compensate for the lower springs or can the car be lowered on the stock struts?

I ran teins with stock springs had no issues they will leak eventually

They will wear the struts out quicker. The struts get "broken in" to a certain range with the stock springs. When you add lowering springs they just wear out faster. But it also depends on how old your struts are.
