Considering Goodyear TripleTred

After seeing this:

on the General Altimax HP (30k miles)this morinng I thought it might be a good idea to pick up a new set of tires. Has anyone had experiecnce with the TT or have an alternate favorite they would reccomend?

+1 on getting alignment before eating up nice new tires, too.

The triple treads from what ive seen take on some edge wear as well , but doesn't help when people underinflate and dont rotate.

Sorry for the double post but wanted to mention a decent tire in 205-55-16 that ive had exp with.

Dunlop fierce instinct. I put a set in my moms bmw a while back when she owned it and they did well. The sidewall has a flame design on it as well and looks pretty good.

I work at Sullivan tire In Wholesale . And yes the fierce is a great tire I run those on my 18's. they are a Dunlop tire how ever there not labeled as so

I beleive my cost would be 10 a tire. Mount and balance

Don`t buy Goodwear Triple thread tires. I has them on my 01 outback about 6 years ago and the belts went after 35K. The car sounded like a helicoter and they suck in snow.
