see you in December ;D

i will put the caveat that if i can get my car set up in time, can find the money, and have that weekend free i'll be there. so help me find some 15 snows or i guess gravels and a skid plate so i can get my car set up faster ;D

My new radiator arrives tomorrow, and hopefully my skidplate gets fabbed up and put on this weekend.

It'll be my first RallyX without the Jeep... :'(

don't bother with gravels in December, more than likely it will be too cold for them anyway. find some snows and run em, and a skid plate should not be necessary for the December event! but I do have a webkris skid plate that would fit your car providing it does not have headers. It doesn't fit on my car so I have no idea why I am keeping it.

yeah i figured gravels would be far to hard to find anyway. im picking up some steels this week, but they have all seasons on them so i need to find some snows, so i can run them all winter.

my car has stock headers. im not terribly worried about the skid plate, it's just extra insurance. i was going to look into a primitive plate, but if you have a spare one kicking around.

I'd let it go for less than a primitive one. let me know!

Anyone coming down to this.

Going to give my 2.5rs a thrashing instead of the wrx.

I'll find out the week points of the new car pretty quick I think.

Modified Iorio built Subaru skidplate and 500w fan o' death are on the Audi and working. Woowoo! If any of your are staying at the motel, cya tomorrow evening! 8)

Man that was fun. I need to learn to stop hitting cones and I'd do half way decent. It was an absolute blast. The car was perfect for the event, gearing and the motor were a perfect match for the course.

One of the few events where I walked away and told myself that the car didn't need a thing. The only reason I didn't trophy is cause I drove like garbage, can't blame the car.

Hadn't done a rallycross since 2000, not sure why I waited so long.

Some pics one of my club mates took. Unfortunately, his battery died, as he was taking some great shots.

ouch

What sort of penalty is off course...like 30 seconds? That hurts, don't remember doing that

Tough to do well with 54 seconds in penalties.

Wondering which cone I didn't hit.

Yep - OC is 15 cones (30 seconds) added to your finishing time. Attempting to take advantage of that to get a faster time (i.e. trying to drive straight from start to finish and ignoring the course) results in a DSQ and Scott takes you out behind the barn for a good whoopin' ;D

The two OC's were on the afternoon course on that last slalom coming back toward the finish if that helps you realize what you did.

Kind of helps.

Wondering if I just had a brain cramp and missed seeing a gate entirely, or if I just sort of slid to the inside of a gate that I saw. Doesn't really matter. More curious than anything.

considering my last rallyx was Okemo Covered bridge in 2000, I'm still happy. The car didn't break, and proved it was worthy. Just have to get the lunatic behind the wheel in shape. It was a ton of fun.
