Dash Trim Removal Question...

Does anyone (or has anyone) ever removed the dash trim (its the piece that the arrows are pointing to) in a 2006 Forester?

For me coming across as a jerk apparently.

You have to take out the dash unless you want to break that piece.

yeah no idea either. I'm sure you've looked online already. Seems you may use this http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f77/sf5-dash-removal-62915/ as a guide for your year maybe... I'd imagine a forester forum may have a guide for an 06.

From this link it looks to be screwed on from the back. Full dash removal is most likely required.
