Just got quoted for some Dean Wintercats just wondering if this was something I should jump on. Opinions on this tire?

At least do the 16" ones if you're gonna drop that much cash. Low profile wide snow tires are just plain stupid. Soft sidewalls that are easy to break on crappy maine winter roads. And huge wide tread makes you float over the snow, instead of cutting in and getting traction.

One of my customers has had them on for over a year, still in great shape. Aggressive tread. They are a good price for such gnarly tread.
