put an HID kit in my high beams (I know, should stay with OE for high beams, blah blah lol) anyways, need to disable my DRLs cause it wacks out the HID kit. I know there is a relay I need to pull and I know its near the headlight assembly somewhere. if anyone has any help it would be much appreciated. 2008 wrx sedan

Its a box inside the fender liner on the passenger side front. If you have an intake you can reach down inside, and unplug it, or pull the liner, and liner and reach in. Its pretty much the only thing in that plugs in down there.

Nate is right, and you need to disable DRLs on most 08+ WRX's in order to get HID fogs and Low beams to work properly too. Dan (RangeleyRallyDG) had this issue I believe, he informed me so I didn't need to take off the front bumper cover twice. Basically if you leave them plugged in then even the lows and fogs will flicker even because it causes some kind of voltage leak. May not be the case on all models, but this is what we noticed. Like nate said, its a black box, like a relay or something with a one sided wiring harned going in to it. I didn't bother to look in to it, I just unplugged it and rapped the connector in black tape so they would not be exposed to the elements.

it happened w papa gaks baja 2 the DRLs give the HIDS a low current normal voltage witch make them flicker. 08 wrx and up have the DRL where nate said I had to internet surf to figure out the baja. it ended up being in the cab of the baja.
