door ajar light

so im driving home tonight i noticed that my door ajar was on, so i pulled over and open the door and the light comes on brighter, i close the door and the light dims but stays on. i checked both doors hood and trunk but it still stays on.

any ideas?

fixed. apparently if you switch the over head light all the way back that light comes on. who knew

but it's gone now

sounds like you may have a grounded wire somewere

Remember when cars used to have the voice that would tell you stuff like "Your Door is Ajar". I rode in a car where that voice thing was frigged up so 2 hrs of "Your Door is Ajar", "Your Door is Ajar", "Your Door is Ajar", "Your Door is Ajar"!!!!!!!!
