engine temp rising

so i thought i took care of this problem over the summer when i replace the thermostat, water pump and radiator, but recently i noticed my engine temp fluctuating. what it does is when i'm driving, the engine temp will sometimes increase. not much but enought to concern me. but... i notice if i rev the engine or just hammer on it a little bit the temp come right back down to normal operating temp.

The only thing i've come up with is that i have some kind of blockage in the coolant lines.

The car runs mint, no problems at all even when the temperature rises it doesn't effect the car. can anyone shed some light on this?

Water pump could be failing again... Or a cracked radiator... Might be a headgasket starting to go.

Check for bubbles on the dipstick. What do you mean by temp going up... does it hit 3/4 of the gauge if so I would stop driving it and figure out the problem!!!

i've pretty much ruled out head gasket, had my usual mechanic check it out to see if that's what the problem was. and the radiator is fully aluminum and practically new. looking like the pump might be the culprit. I'm gonna flush the coolant for kicks and see if it effects anything.
