Exhaust hole question

What is the best way to take care of a small hole in an exhaust? I seem to have a gap where the exhaust hanger is welded (first hanger after donut gasket). JB weld, rtv, solder or am I looking at a replacement?

If a replacement is in order are wrx/sti exhausts compatible with an n/a RS?

Apologies for the noob questions but I normally play with wires not exhausts.

Thank you in advance.

Weld it shut.

I've used brass brazing rod and an oxy/ace torch to patch my RS exhaust for inspection in the past. Now I just MIG everything.

jb probably wont hold. high temp RTV might, but who knows if you'll pass inspection that way.

If you smather it completely in the red high temp RTV, and then hose clamp a beer can over it. It will probably hold for a really long time. You probably also won't pass inspection unless you go to shops that write stickers for things like my GL.
