F/S 2009 STI 4400 miles

I beg to differ for this simple fact.
Lets say the said "Charger" is sold at auction for $10,000. Now they said they hoped to get $20,000. (this being the so-called "value") $10,000 is WHAT THE CAR IS WORTH plain and simple. Again its only worth what someone will pay for it. I can say I have an old silver dollar coin that's worth a million bajillion dollars. But if I can only sell it for $1.25.... that that's what its worth. Make sense?

KBB is a guide. Its a very good guide, but I wouldn't call it the bible. Last time I checked dealers were using NADA prices. (updated yearly)
Nate, I have not heard this in awhile but it's very true. I sold cars and had two excellent bosses who taugh me the car bizz. IMO KBB is a little high on one and two year old cars and it's due to the lack of them being sold at actions, traded, etc.. especially cars like Sti's and these cars that didn't have any data in our blackbooks were hard to negotiate a deal on due to the used car manager does not want to take it in on trade and lose money on it and the owner wants to much for it. What it boils down to is cars depreciate horribly and unless you plan on keeping it in a climate controlled garage for a long time plan on losing money.

lol she does but we have a ton of married people with 2 kids bills also. over 100k in student loans and mortgage and her car payment a high electricity bill from living in a old house and over 7 k in medical bills from our two kids etc etc. her salary for one person woudl be massive but supporting a whole family on her own its a lot tougher. we thought life woudl be a breeze on her salary but there is a lot more that needs to be payed for than expected with 2 kids 3 animals and life happening

Kristof, I just notice in your NASIOC thread you stated you will allow someone to take over your payments. What is the 10 day payoff ?

30,102 i have a payment due on the 24th why do u ask?

wzrd, the factory warranty does xfer to subsequent owners, so anybody who boughtened this car would have coverage
kristof's STI is exactly the kind of used turbo car you want to find...adult owned, not beated on, NO dirt road miles (well maybe a couple but you get the idea) and clean clean clean
MY bad on the warrenntee transfer, and i will agree that the car in question is a cleen low miles example . BUT ,If im gonna spend that kind of money i would prefer to be the first owner not the second..m2cIm sure K'S car will make someone a nice ride...good luck......wzrd

This car has def not been driven hard... infact I believe he babied TOO MUCH it from what I saw/heard. Def the kind of person to buy a used one from so you can kill it yourself.

Good luck with the sale. Hopefully you don't take it too hard! I know how it is lol... I am looking at 03-06 CL55 AMG's and they are 100k+new and sell for 19-35k with 20-70k on them.

yeah mercedes are so bad as far as dropping in value when u drive them off the lot. im sure i can sell it just might take a little bit

Hi thanks for mailing back,i am an oceanographer, i am at sea right now,i am buying this for my Son,I'll be glad if you accept my offer.I can only pay through PayPal at the moment as i don't have access to my bank account online(i don't have internet banking with it),but i have it attached to my PayPal account, and this is why i insisted on using PayPal to pay,all i will need is your PayPal email address to make the payments, and if you don't have a PayPal account yet,its pretty easy to set one up at <http://www.paypal.com/> . i will be expecting your email.I have a pick up agent that will come for the pick up after payments has been sorted.

Thanks for your mail , since i asked you about the cpondition and you said its quiet OK , i will love to buy the car as i said , and as of right now i can only have access to PayPal , means i can only Pay you Via PayPal , i will arrange for my shipping Agent to come over as soon after i paid into your PayPal email account right from here now,all you have to do is to get back to me with your PayPal email account and the location of where the car is .. and i will mail the money as soon as i see the account .. thx

was just about to pay when i had this problem with the pick up, my pick up agent says i will need to pay for the pick up before they can schedule a pick up time, they charged me $950 for pick up and delivery, and payments for pick up made through them is made to their corporate international headquarters which is in the united kingdom and the payments is made through western union money transfer, i will add the $950 to the money i will send through paypal as soon as i have made the payments, i will email you and let you know and please i will need you to help me send the money to my pick up agent Hq in the UK through western union money transfer, this can be done from any post office ,there is always western union money transfer section in most post offices(you can do it online as well at (www.westernunion.com)..., i would have done it myself but we cant bring some of our personal effects along, i am a little incapacitated.....I will appreciate your help here.

peopel fall for this crap?

well had a few people email me about my add on craigs list. should i require a deposit before somone test drives it? i already told them i woudl need proof of insurance i woudl need ot be in the car with them and have them sign a waiver saying they are responsible for any damage that occurs during the test drive caused by them

Dude, tell them they cannt drive it but you will take them for a test drive if they want to see it run. I would not trust anyone. Especially sense you car is in like 100% mint condition.

This is what I'd do.
