Reliability: 9/10

Have driven this to and from Western Mass 4 times in the past year, and to Central CT twice. I never worry about this car making it to its destination.

Appearance: 7/10

The new bumper and other bits give it that classic GC style. However the vision is 20/20. Good from 20 feet or 20mph. The paint shows its age.

Exterior: 6/10

Nothing that will result in a major teardown but it does need attention in the normal wearspots around the rear wheel wells. Front fender also has dent.

Interior: 5/10

Nothing is awful but the interior shows its age. Carpet is worn, seats are worn. No rips in seats however and dash cleans up very well. Replaced doorcards because previous cards were ripped.

Mechanical: 7/10

All major issues have been attended to. The engine got some much needed TLC from Lobstah. Tranny shifts fine, clutch is less than 2 years old. Brakes would be next area of focus if I were to continue the onslaught of upgrades. Suspension is almost entirely new.

TLDR; Reliable car that has signs of age but the major elements have been taken care of.

I'm in no rush, if you think you're interested you're free to take a look at it whenever. I'm getting a couple minor things fixed that will improve the overall picture.

Thanks Ray, it's been a great car. It's not a luxurious ride but that's not what we'd expect anyway.

Something I will also add to the OP.

New timing belt, oil pump, fuel filter <5k miles.

whats the asking price mark....and what are you doing with the rims/tires that are on it now???? sell seperate?

I haven't quitttttteeee drummed up an asking price yet. However I will say it is the least expensive RS for sale on the forums.

As for the wheels they are for sale in a separate thread

It comes with what's on it now, which are the bronze 6 spokes. I suppose if the buyer wanted the wrx rims as well they could have them

Wow, that's cheap!!!!!
no, that's realistic and currently market correct for the car's mileage and condition.

those who think their GC RS'es are worth like $5k - $7k are dreamin', unless the car is a true zero rust specimen and has abnormally low miles, or more likely both. even then price would be a lower end of that range.

Yeah you're right Nigel, but I was just thinking with all the work that has been recently down, and the problem areas addressed, it is a good price for an RS you can just jump in a and drive and not have to worry about the HG's or anything

basically everything nigel said is true and the reason that led me to this price. as ray can atest, i'm essentially selling it for what i paid, after a lot of work and money went into it.

i feel it's accurate pricing considering everything. i probably could have asked 4,500 or something and waited around forever but i'd rather keep things easy on myself.

now....someone buy it!!
