Forge Manual Boost Controller $55. I have only used it for a few months in perfect shape comes in original box with both springs. Black

 
Im switching back to a prodrive because that's what my tuner prefers. Plus with meth a electronic controller is safer.

MBC have better spool though so its a trade.

 
Ive hear EBCS are a pain in the butt with EWG, especially around the northeast with temp veriations. Im gonna swap to manual for some tuning right away. (using Bren Tuning) But im holding on to my EBCS for down the road, if it is ever needed.

 
Bren and DSG both dont like ebcs but esp prefers tuning them so that's what im using. At least with a ebcs if my meth fails the ecu can kill boost so I dont blow my motor.

Hahaha. It scares me too.

But Bren is the only one that didnt bat an eye at my list. Most didnt wanna touch it with the EWG. Im just ready to start making some more boost. It rips as it is, and im only making 12psi.

Im getting Marks Forge UNOS today, and hope to get a base tune on tomorrow. Maybe in a week or so I'll be all done.

So true. I have a TurboXS MBC on mine and love how fast my turbo spools with it. Recently when Gabe let me borrow his AP, I hooked up my stock BCS and was totally shocked how slow the spool time was! Especially running the MBC for 4+ years.

Well because it's sold, I'm gonna threadjack now!!! So what's the deal with these MBC's? Does it help keep a more consistent boost or??

 
just more control. and because the EBC is a gradual rise in boost based on what the EM is telling it to do, it's quicker to get to max boost with a MBC
