That happens a lot more than people think. A friend at Bill Dodge had a truck fall off his lift a few weeks ago. I had one wobble backwards but I had enough time to get a tranny jack under the rear axle to stop the wobbling. Makes you think about stuff. Like more important stuff than fixing some POS vehicle.

When the RS goes on the 4 point lift, I lift it up a foot or two, wobble the front and back to make sure it's stable, then continue pressing the up button until car is moving the raised ceiling.

 
it looked like that truck slid off one of the point that was holding it. techs fault for not placing them properly. or at least doing what dan does to see if he missed a lift point.
