I have a passport escort 8500 x50 radar detector im trying to get rid of had it for a couple years and its just been sitting in my room for half a year reason is the smart cord doesn't work anymore it got ripped but the radar itself does still work just the smart cord that turns it on is bad so im looking to get $75 u can purchase a new smart cord at best buy for 29.99 plus tax I believe its a hard wire kit it eliminates the use of your cigarette lighter outlet or u can find them on ebay for cheaper probably so $75 without the smart cord thanks
