gas filling problems

i have been having problems with putting gas into the forester, the lines have all been blown out and it still will only let me put a trickle of gas in at a time has anyone seen this or know what it could be?

have you tried turning the nozzle to the side while you're filling it? I had one car that would only fill full blast if you turned it a little. Try that. If that doesn't help, then it sounds like a filler-neck problem.

Or try pulling it out a little bit so that it's not fully in the neck. I've had to do that before.

how long do you think it would take for someone to drop the gas tank and and replace the relief valve and put everything back

it is suppose to take roughly 6 hrs

can you get at this relief valve thru floor opening where fuel pump and gas lines are?
