gauge clusters

does ANYBODY know if the gauge clusters from a GC8 impreza and a BG5/BD5 legacy are compatible/interchangeable, given that they are both manuals and the same MY year?

you won't know til you tear things apart and try it!

try rough measurements 1st, that'll tell you if the project is even feasible.

my guess is that the project is more work than it's worth, but maybe you have some other tweak in mind.

it should work but the connectors probably aren't the same. but the gauge tachs are both made for 4cyls, so that would work, and the backlights and indicator lights are all 12v, and the fuel/temp gauges are most likely the same resistance. the speedo is the last piece, the earlier imprezas had a cable driven setup, the later ones were all electric.
