Going for it

Ok, so given my limited knowledge/skills I have taken the steps to get my '03 WRX wagon fixed at a shop instead of replacing the radiator myself. I have too much concern that this may not be the only problem (just bought car) so I think someone who knows what the heck they are doing should be in there. I'm going to Pine State Garage on Mile Road in Wells, Maine. Had a pretty good reference from a local friend, so I feel ok about this. They offered the removal & replacement w/ the radiator included for $300. Patriot Subaru quoted me $350 (a break from the $390 list price!?!) for JUST the radiator, and of course their labor is $94/hr for comparison. Another local garage quoted $390 for the whole job.

Hopefully this will be done by the end of the week, and then I will be back to having a dependable ride, while the RS gets a break so I can pull it apart and restore more of it, before it goes back to DD for spring, when I will look to sell the '03 WRX.

Any input, feedback, advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

T
