has anyone experienced fuel cut?

my car is a 08 wrx I have the cobb ap stage 1 with a K&N intake and invidia q300 cbe. I sometimes experience fuel cut around 90-100 mph and am wondering  what I should do to remedy this problem. does anyone have any suggestions?

here is my options what would work best?

A) take the K&N off and put the stock intake back on as it should be good for up to 300 hp.

C) buy a high flow catted downpipe and go to stage 2

I doubt he's getting boost creep in this hot weather and those mods. He'd be more likely to get that with a high flow downpipe.

Post up a data log of what's happening.

 
Have you installed a bigger fuel pump such as the older model walbro 255 or deatschwerks 65? That could probably cure your fuel cut issue

 
Probably overboost fuel cut. What does the boost gauge read when it cuts? It's not a big deal to raise the overboost fuel cut limit when you tune the car. If that's not something you can handle you'll have to take it to somebody who can.

 
if it's overboosting, his car would be getting a check engine light. a p0244 i believe wastegate inefficiency or something or other.

 
Cobb might have deleted that code. I've never worked with any Cobb stuff so I don't know I have only used open source.

 
Sounds like overboost to me (boost creep), resulting in a fuel cut.  That will only throw a code under certain circumstances.  Look at your learned fuel values and see if it's running too rich/lean (+/- 2%). First fix attempt if you're too rich/lean would be to rescale your MAF tune, and see if that helps since you have an intake.  If those values are fine, I would look for an exhaust leak around the turbo or at the downpipe/catback mating flange.  Fix those if there's a leak. 

If none of that does the trick, you need a low wastegate tune to compensate for this problem.

If you do find that there are no exhaust leaks, and the learned values are off, it's worth looking for leaks on the intake side (if things are running lean) before rescaling the MAF.

 
I ended up replacing my fuel pump with a deatschwerks dw65c and it has fixed the issue my car is definitely running a lot smoother.
