Just bought a 94, kid BEFORE me ran it with no oil... did a motor swap to another 1.8 to save gas over the winter but am here mostly to gain knowledge for another motor swap this spring, probably boosted and never have built a boosted car before so will probably need advice! Im a sucker for good deals, even if i dont need the part, if anyone has cool parts that would fit mine.

I'll take some more pics to show u guys. Old Motors pretty much toast. Piston all over and dug the cylinder wall up haha. I've heard that's a weakness of the 1.8 anyway, pistons.

 
Curious as to which transmission it has, auto or 5speed, AWD or FWD? Whatever it has you should be able to have some low power fun this winter, as long as you keep oil in it. Never heard of a 1.8 eating pistons like that with proper oil levels.

Does anybody know who drives the nasty wrx that's always parked at the jail parking lot in south windham? Just drove by. Out of curiosity.

Yeah there's an abundance of knowledge here, it's great. I am keeping an eye out for a blown up 2.5 or 2.2 to build for it. I don't trust a 1.8 with 150,000 miles for boost
