Yeah so other than feeling like a HUGE idiot, Here is the basic deal:

DDM h7 HID kit

Harness kit with fuse

Plugged everything in, went to turn it on and nothing! Parking lights on, no lows, no highs, no fogs?

So after screwing with it for a while put everything back to stock, same problem: Parking lights, no lows, no highs, no fogs.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

I did disable the DRLs, the 05-06s just have that white plug you have to pull under the dash. With your 08 i dont think you have to right? DRLs are the highs?

Changing the fuse in a few minutes, i'll get back to you on your 5$ ;D

i always start any electrical job by disconecting the battery. saves you hassle on looking for a popped fuse

I do that now... didn't before. I blew a $0.15 engine fuse on my RX7 when I used a metal pry bar to put tension on my alternator to adjust the belt. Spent over $125 in diagnostic work at a local "RX-7 specialist" garage. Thing was running on 1 rotor, so we thought it was a stuck apex or something. I shat myself when I finally checked the fuse box.

EJ255: I dont think the high beam indicator is a problem on the 05-06s? I'll let you know when i wire it up tonight. Any quick pics of your new harness? I'm going to try mine again and then if i have to i'll make my own.

Redline: I owe U $2.50 it was the headlight fuse, but it wasn't under the dash it was under the hood.

RezPunk: I did disconnet the battery, that's why it was sooo frusterating!!!

So i found the issue; one of the plugs in the harness that came with the kit was backwards so the stock wiring kept grounding out and blowing the fuse. All set now though, i'll add some pics soon.

Overall impression: Better than stock, brighter but deffinitly throws some glare, looks like i need to start looking for some RX330 projectors to upgrade in the next year or 2. That being said the car looks so much better with them on, legacys should have come with them stock, it just fits. Now i dont have to feel stupid when i go head to head with a mini or prius since they had HIDs and I didnt.

By glare i mean not a strait cutoff line with no light going above it. Your cutoff should look like this:

..............

_______/

For lack of a better picture. With the HIDs there is light that goes above the dots. Make sense?
