history of this 05 WRX

I just bought a silver 05 WRX with about 16k from Norman/David in Westbrook. I'm really currious about the history of this car. Its been in Maine its whole life and has been tuned which leads me to believe that the previous owner might have been part of this forum.

My primary reason for this is that (I'm brand new to this and freely admit that I know nothing) I have no way to read the UTEC to see what each MAP is.

Other bolt-ons that I have noticed:

TurboXS BOV -hard to miss

TurboXS Boost controler.

Boost guage -this was set really cleanly into the round driver side vent.

Or, if nobody knows this car, could you guys suggest a good shop that would be able to read the UTEC.

I don't want blow the thing up before I get a chance to learn anything.

Unless you have a HUGE turbo that the stock wastegate can't handle effectively, you don't get any performance bonus.

I'd take 'er out, and get the SPT intake for that rig. All the nice blow-off sound, with some sound engineering behind it

I'm actually not sure about the turbo. I know it has the sti intercooler and its pushing about 17psi.

I know F1 Dyno used to do that to the Subarus they did installs for. But Im sure many other people have done that too
