LOL nice. Ya I have no idea what the hell he's talking about there, just some more senseless crap that he really has no idea about, because it's not an EA82. But anyway, the EJ18 is a great motor and I know of many that have hit the 300k mark with no issues except normal maintenance!! It's just an underpowered EJ22 in terms of reliability.

Pretty much the same engine (except of course displacement, and a few things like TB), aren't they?

Yes, just less displacement, and a few other minor details. But basically the same motor. The EJ18 puts out around 100hp, and the 2.2 is around 140-145

Nice! That reminds me of the 91 Legacy L 2wd that my uncle gave to me. Same color, also, but automatic. Kinda wish I had kept it for a beater, because it was pretty clean.
