Ice Racing w/the BMW Club

You do not need to be a BMW club member to attend, just be a guest of a member and I will be happy to "sponsor" anyone.   Just pre-register so you can get the info emails.   Pre-registering does not mean that you have to attend any of the events.

First event might be this weekend Feb 2nd.

What kind of tires are they using.

It appears that they allow just about anything. Up to and including tires with snowmobile ice spikes.

It just so happens that I inherited these last fall for just such an occasion.

So how does this work? Its a big circle right?

No. Think autocross on ice. No wheel to wheel racing, just one car on course at a time, just like AX, left AND right hand turns. There are other clubs out there in this area that do oval races, but I am not familiar with them.

well it ain't happening this weekend but the next one! that'll be purfect: winter course driving on sat, ice driving on sun! Sounds like a good weekend
