idler pulley?

so after getting my waterpump, timing belt, and thermostat changed, i noticed a squeaking coming from the pulleys, it seems to go away once the engine has warmed up all the way. When getting the work done my mechanic told me the idler pulley had a little bit of play in it. not much at all but enough to mention. could this be causing the sqeaking? it doesn't seem to be coming from the serpentine belts. is it something that should be addressed soon? thanks for any input.

Take your accessory belts off and run it for a minute when its cold. If the squeak is gone then its those belts, either dry/worn, or too loose. If the squeak is still there then its the timing belt idler(s). Get that fixed pronto. Your 16 valves depend on you.
