I'm in the market for a new scoobie. I would love a wrx bug eye, but with a budget of $5000 I don't know how realistic that is. If anyone sees or knows of anything that they would think of as a reliable, safe, and fun subaru for me let me know!

for 5k you can get a nice 02-03 wrx, and if you shop hard enough you can probably find a 04-05. the prices of what they are actually worth have come down quite a bit

theres an 04 leggy gt wagon 5-speed near me for 6500...i know its a little higher than your price range but the car doesn't even have 100k on it and its got brand new brakes all the way around, tires are still decent too.
