YARRR SUBY MONSTER!!
I will have for sale (as soon as my new processor comes in) an Intel Q8300 2.5GHz core2 quad. Socket 775.
I've had it running in my desktop for about 5 years now with probably a good 3 years uptime. The whole time it's been overclocked to 3GHz with a MASSIVE cooler on it. My computer tracks CPU temps, and in it's whole life it's never gone above 120*F. The machine has always been stable and never one crash. This is a very solid CPU.
The reason I'm upgrading to a different one is because this one doesn't support Virtualization Technology, it pains me to get rid of a perfectly working CPU, but I really need VT, so there be it.
Just a note that most people will never need VT for anything, it's for running multiple operating systems at the same time, etc.
SO, it's my loss on this one because when I built this 5 years ago I didn't need a fancy processor.... $115 OBO.
I'll hopefully have my 9400 some time beginning of January, so I can let it go then.
