Intrested in Reupholstering your subie?

What are you getting at here? Are you saying you do upholstering work, and will give us a deal?

have you done upholstery work or upholstery pattern making before? and I don't mean just cutting door cards and whatnot. I mean correctly making seat patterns and getting nice straight seams, correctly fitting patterns, the whole deal.

seats are sooooooooooooo hard to do!! I have worked with sewing machines since 2002 and I would shy from attempting seats but if you can do it good job man!

I need my driver's side seat re-padded and some stitching done in the bottom seam...

Yes, I've done actual upholstery work. I learned how at Wyotech.

Seats are actually pretty easy, especially if you have an Industrial machine...I prefer an Adler. The hardest thing that I hate is sewing up Diamonds in the center of the seats, could never sew it up right, diamonds always looked funky!

I've got a bottom seat cover off a first gen impreza that is ripped at the seam. The center material has shrunk so it's not a simple stretch and resew according to the traveling upholstery guy Evergreen uses.

I'm all ears.

capable of putting RS cloth seat fabric on a 60-40 split OBS rear seat?
I could, but I really wouldn't want too...60-40 split seats are a SHE DOG for me. An besides, I currently don't have a sewing machine yet. So I can only do "Panel Upholstery" at the moment like doors, headliner, package tray, etc...

Once I pick up a sewing machine I'll start doing seats, carpet, etc. If you wanna see what I've done so far to my car... Go to the member's gallery forum and look for "Yoshi's 2002 Impreza 2.5RS"

Honestly...I wouldn't even attempt to stretch or re-sew, re-sewing old fabric weaken's it a lot. I would just get new fabric, pull apart the old one, trace out patterns on the new fabric and sew it up.

Over a week ago? I got your email yesterday at 4:21am, I don't know what a "week" is for you...mine is 7 days.
