Judge rules stock Pontiac G8 GT tailights illegal

I found this article this morning. Apparently a judge and police officer rules that the factory DOT approved tail lights on the G8 GT are illegal.

A Maryland judge issued an $85 fine to the owner of a Pontiac G8 GT for illegal tail lights, despite being factory-installed and approved by the US Department of Transportation. She's promised to keep fining him

WTF, they are DOT approved, how can a judge overrule that? This is BS. Time to go back to GM, though I doubt they give a ****.
