Ken Block 2010: Win or Fail?

I would honestly give him a WIN.

Teething problems in WRC and running a Euro RallyCross car for Rally America unsucessfully are to be expected

LOL, "losing Subaru fanbois due to running a Ford " = WIN

KB and Alex had a very credible run at super specialized event, Rally Sweden. KB's attitude is very humble and it's obvious he is living his dream.

They won "Colin's Crest" big jump contest at Sweden, heh KB's comment to reporters after the jump win: "Well I sucked everywhere else, so it was good to win this at least"

win win win

He's out there getting paid a butload of money to have fun driving fast cars. It doesn't matter what make the car is, that's a damn WIN!!

he is probably not making near what you think. He was hugely wealthy before he sold his interest in DC shoes.

He's also got his wife that understands

Understands what? She has gone out and raced herself.

Understanding comes a bit easier when you aren't putting your family in potential financial peril over a sport.

^This^ lol so apparently you have talked to my wife....

"what do you get if you win?"

bragging rights and a trophy...

Haha. Hell yeah his wife drives too. In fact, i remember watching his wife drive into the award ceremony at Sunday River. Also saw him run up to the car to congratulate her. KB however was not driving a car...hmm..

yeah he got there an hour or so before her.

I call it a win...although I think that the "win-fail" lingo is really stupid. Subaru or Ford, he is representing America on the biggest stage of my favorite motorsport. I'm not too sure how excited I am that he had his first seat time in the new Fiesta RS WRC just a couple days before Rally Sweden and his focus seems to be more on side projects like gymkhana rather than progressing as a driver in the WRC. The promotion is great, but soon its going to seem like a lot of noise for a driver who should be in the top ten at his events and isn't.

I hate to tell you man, this Gymkhana stuff and the Monster videos pay the bills so he can play. Even on a national stage, rally doesn't exactly pay the bills. That stuff is huge advertising $$

that's a fail... Ford Focus fail.
your attitude is understandable, seeing as to your fambly connex to a scooby dealer.......but the hard fact is, if KB wanted to go up to WRC level the problem is Subaru simply does not have a car he can race there competitively.

and plz note that KB is no longer driving a WRC Focus, it's Fiesta all the way now.
