Has anyone got to check out the new ford taurus?365 hp,awd,turbo charged.Looks like there makeing a run on us subaru's....What do you think..[rob] ?

The new SHO isn`t the same car my original 89 was. It`s a different breed made for yuppies with its automatic only tranny. The people that buy the new SHO starting at 38K probably would never look at a subie. I betcha the average age of buyers will be 40+. Our subies are made for the young at heart, even though some of us aren`t so young any more. I`d say 90% of our members are under 30 and that just suits me just fine

Its a car for old people who want to go fast. I like the powertrain but im not a fan of the large styling.

from what i have found that's not exactly true because everyone i have met is over 30.... must be something about living in the middle of nowhere that makes you old :-P

not trying to be a negative nancy, just calling it how i see it.

still sounds fast, and looks like a VW CC, 5series, and Legacy combined.

 
lol looks absolutly nothing like a legacy. i love cause itis a 4 door sedan you compare it to a legacy. i know you have subie ont he mind but it looks nothing like a subie.

it does however look like a land boat unable to make a 3 point turn on a 6 lane highway

I wonder how much it weights?..my old 06 charger came in at 3600lbs..350hp didnt make up for the pigishness of the car
 
when i first heard about it i thought ok fords makin a little stink and now that i see it i would never own it period

 
My Motor trend mag has the weight at 4361

that's approx. the same weight as my big ass 128" wb 64 421 Ho Bonneville convert.
