This was my third hillclimb event and definetly the best one so far. First we had sunshine for most of both days, I'll take that over soaking wet all weekend anytime. It's a lot nicer for changing wheels
The course was much more open than Burke or Philo. The breakout time was 2:43 and I managed a 2:46 on my last run for Sunday after chanting "don't lift, don't lift" on one of the fast sections. A brief glance at my speedo saw 90MPH
The weekend was as always full of carnage. A BMW 320 went off straight into the trees, an M3 went into the trees backwards. Both at the same corner. A Frontier desert rally truck broke a right front strut and a classic SAAB blew his tranny.
Next event is Philo in October
