Pads and Rotors suggestions 2003 wrx?

It is time to change my pads and rotors, I need some help on what to get. I dont want anything too crazy expensive because its my daily driver and I dont drive it like I stole it. Well sometimes...Give me your thoughts on what you all like and prefer for pads and rotors. Cross drilled, Slotted, Vented, or ceramic? Pads I dont mind just something that will last a while but also dont want to spend my life savings. I will be doing the work myself so that will save on labor.

Crossed drilled and slotted rotors are a waste of money. They don't do anything useful for street driving and they eat brake pads. Get a set of these and some good pads you'll see a big difference.

I 100% agree with Garrett, grab some of those rotors and buy either EBC redstuff or Hawk Brakes pads and be done with it. That combo will be more then enough for street driving and they would hold up very well even in Autocross.

I am not positive of this, but I think the brakes changed from '02 to '03. But this is the set I put on my '02 WRX. Quite satisfied. Pads fit right into the calipers.

I mention the pads fitting easily, because I replaced the pads on an RS I had, and had to file the pad tabs slightly.

Ive really like the combo of "DBA" slotted rotors with the "HAWK' hp pads on my 06 rex..Also might want to upgrade your lines at the same time...My car hitches up reallllllllll good now.....no fade ,nice pedal feal
