Parking lights wont turn off/passenger door light wont turn off

We have a 07 outback at my work that they want to send to the auction because the parking lights kill the battery, the rocker switch doesn't work. But I also noticed that the light on the dash thinks that the passenger side door is open at all times. The light on the passenger door is also on, not sure if that would keep the parking lights on or not. Door shuts tight like it should. Not sure where to look from here.

nevermind, I fixed it. The button that is supposed to be pressed in when the door shuts had a broken  bracket so the whole switch was just getting pushed into the door jam. Unplugged that and the dome light, door light, and dash light turned off and the parking lights now stay off when the car is off.
