can the stock turbo inlet hose come out without taking off the intake manifold?

i know the perrin can go in with the manifold on..

If you losen and remove all the intake bolts and whatever brackets and fuel line crap you can see and just lift up (an inch or so) it might come out.

come out or come out in one piece?

You can get the stocker out just takes some wiggling and cutting off the nipples.

If you want it in one piece then you'll need to lift the manifold.

well it would ne nice to keep the stock one..but i am most likey going to be the last owner of this wagon hehe (i have a way of making them unsaleable)

so retaining the stock one isn't much a worry.

so cut the nips off of it and taker out...roger that

well that was a right royal pain in the arse!

all the suggestions were fantastic and install went well,

the old one coming out was a chore but going back in was equally painful.

also installed another item today as well, i bought a turbo chimney,

that install was easy too, if you dont mind hacking your car apart with a saw of some sorts.

took off the intercooler and all related junk attached to it. (did both jobs at the same time today)

took off the old heat sheild

took off the left hand side intercooler bracket and tossed it in the parts bin.

cut off the left hand side intercooler mounting tab on the IC itself to make room for the chimney.

reassemble

looks sweet, i should get pics.
