A moment of silence from STM for one of the greatest American race car drivers, and a man known to be a gentleman in the truest sense of the word.

R.I.P. Mr. Hill.

Phil Hill liked oversteer too...like in the famous sharknose Ferrari F1 car of 1961 that he drove to become first American to win World Driving Champ honors.

I like to think he's NOT resting in peace, but sliding that sharknose sideways under the Pearly Gates again and again, with faster lap times each trip thru. :angel12:
