YARRR SUBY MONSTER!!
I'm toying with the idea of selling my legacy. I kind of want a wagon or forester, and maybe something newer as I'm going to be doing a lot of commuting in the near future, over 100 miles a day.
The bad:
Exterior is a little battered. A good wax, some bondo and a little paint it would be damn near perfect though. Needs tires and some other small stuff for a sticker, but I wouldn't sell it till I had a everything for a sticker, and have it stickered.
The valve covers leak a little, but that's not a bad job, I can do that.
I'll update the bad when I think of what else is wrong...
The AWESOME!:
All this work done within 20k miles.
Front axles, one new, one rebuilt.
Front right wheel bearing.
Timing belt, idlers, tensioner, and water pump. The works
New clutch, flywheel, flywheel, pressure plate, and trow out bearing. Installed by Lobster!
Rebuilt alternator.
New pads all around, new rear rotors. I have new in box front rotors I'll throw in.
AC works wonderfully. I recharged it over the summer because it was wicked hot, and now the AC is awesome!
Rear sway bar upgrade, just one size up to the outback one. Improves handling one size, decent handling.
Brand new front springs.
All the suspension is in awesome shape, all corners pass the bouncy test.
JDM HEADLIGHTS!! You'll have to pay extra for them though
This car runs and drives awesome, I really love it and would hate to see it go. But if I am going to end up commuting over 100 miles a day I'm thinking of something newer, and I've wanted a wagon forever anyway.
Oh, I almost forgot. It's a 5 speed (which should be obvious since it has a new clutch). And only 115k miles. (which is why I might keep it...)
Just putting it out here to see if anybody would want it, and what you all think my beloved car is worth. Probably a lot less than I'd like it to be...
