Ok.. I have signed up for this hairbrained race. I can spend a max of $250 for something like a lawn mower-go kart and have to race it endurance style.

My competition has an old Murray lawn tractor with a Polaris 488. what do you have? what do you know of? and can you help a brother out?

If I can get soemthing and borrow a GoPro the video will be on here.

I have a few old motors in my garage, including a nice honda 13hp.... I wanna race it. haha.

Seems like it would be relatively easy to source an old lawn mower and a motorcycle for a hybrid...

yeah pretty much. apparently the steering is more of a suggestion than anything.

I thought I would be all set with the regular pulley mods and restrictor removal.... but I think I will be outgunned. I almost had a golf cart with a 488 in it, but the engine is gone.

and the big problem with doing a hybrid is the $250 price limit.
