well, when the goal is gettin that monster V8 wide-open for 12 or 13 minutes on a super dusty dirt road that ends at 14,000+ feet altitude...maybe they shoulda put 3 filters on there!

Fram filters are alright when you're racing a car and changing the oil OFTEN. The problem with fram filters is that on some of them they used cardboard to support the filter element and after a while it lets go and turns into a not filter. Change your oil after running the motor at WOT for a few hours, no biggie.
