reflective paint stripes. legal?

i want to add some suttle stripe swooshes from mid back door to hood. want it to be reflective. is this legal?

Its legal, lights are not when put in certain places or colors or brightness.

I think that reflective stripes are OK, though there may be issues with red reflective material on the front part of car (might confuse ppl which end of a parked vehicle is which)
