Squeeky underdrive pulley

I thought it might have been the belts, so I replaced those, but there still seems to be some squeekyness coming from the underdrive pulley. I shot some WD back there and that seemed to help , but only for a really short while.

Can an underdrive pulley go bad?

Take your belts off start the motor and run some sand paper on the belt surface it is squeaky cause the surface has become to polished and smooth
