is there a tentative date for this event yet? im debating either this event or RXin Halifax. but gas being 1.27 a litre for high test. makes travel a little expensive.

Stafford is January 26th and 27th. The weekend after O'Neil's.

ohhh...Craig told me I couldn't use studs since it was a national event. remind me to smack him upside the head tomorrow.

If the driver is competing in the National Challenge, the national rules apply. They are:

1. Stock class: Studs allowed if ice or snow is present

2. Prepped: Any tire except homemade studs

3. Mod: same as prep.

If they are only running NER points, studs are allowed in all classes regardless of conditions.

so now you can smack him and show him!!!!! ;D

 
Yeah, yeah, yeah, so I believed a reputable rally-xer when he told me that studs weren't allowed and didn't go run and check the regs before passing it along. My mistake...
