Studs be removed?

I found a set of Studded snow tires for cheap, but I hate the noise that studs make.

Can they be removed without damage to the tire??

yup. get some astroglide and some really good needle nose plyers (long handle for more leverage)

no seriously, just a dish tub with water and astroglide and soak the tire then start pullin the little F-ers out.

Yup. it works.(most tires)some have OVERSIZED bases for the studs but those are Very rare in the U.S....

astro-glide optional.

I like the sparks generated when drifting with studded snows in the evening. To boot, it is yet another method to rid the noise
