sub has been ceasing to function for periods of time. Checked the amp this morning abed the light was on, connections were good. Crossedtwo output terminals to try to get it to go onto protect or pop a fuse and it did nothing. Not sure if it isn't getting signal from the head unit or the amp is pooched

is your sub a single voice coil or a dual? if it's dual and you have them wired in parallel, switch is to series. It will draw less wattage. if it's single, probably pooched it. you could try confirming it if you tried it with another sub

I honestly don't remember, it's been installed under the seat for 4 years now. I'll twitch it out this weekend
