subaru wingless trunk blue

I figure that it'll be one less hassle for the wife. I'm planning on being out of here by spring.

Ok, so here goes nothing.

So I guess it's my own fault, buyer beware. But I am dissatisfied with the trunk swap, and I've been told that I can not swap back.

My STI trunk was in pretty good shape, not mint, but good shape. The WRX trunk traded to me from Steve_WRX is a piece of junk.

To start off, it's the wrong color. Second, the paint has obvious pices of dirt and other junk in it, and look very nasty. The surface of the trunk looks like it had a can of bondo dumped on it and smoothed out with a butter knife. It is obvious that I was the victim of an unscrupulous trader.

I PM'ed Steve_WRX,

Code:
So Steve,
I'm not happy with our trade. The trunk that I traded to you was in pretty good shape. I assumed that you weren't trying to ditch
a cruddy lookin' piece on me. I guess I assumed wrong.
The trunk that you traded to me is not in very good condition and the paint is pretty bad and the wrong color to boot. I would like to swap back.
I'd like to think that you are a stand-up kind of guy, and that you don't want me to walk away feeling like I got shafted. If you had asked for yours
back after the fact, I'd gladly give it to you, because I wouldn't want you to think I was, "That kind of guy."
I hope that you understand where I'm coming from, and take me seriously.

Thanks,

joe
And this is the response,

Code:
Hi we traded as is you helped swap trunks u saw mine and i saw urs we did a trade i dont do trade backs if u said somethin
right then and there then yes
Still unhappy, I replied,

Code:
Really? You [b]are[/b] trying to screw me? You're not going to do the right thing?
Response,

Code:
No I wasnt trying to screw you... you saw the condition of the trunk when we traded. you should of turned down the trade in person.
And the car is being sold someone is interested in it. If you want I know someone that wants a wingless trunk and would give up an sti one.
you cant just trade and be like i dont like it and want to trade back. And blame me for your action in takeing it .that's like me wanting to trade
cars with u and wanted to trade back cuz i dont like it after 4 days sorry i cant help u out trade is final
So, here I am. I turn to you, members of Mainely Subarus, to maybe talk to this person, and see if he will not confess to the obvious stunt that has been pulled. And if not, let this be a word from the wise, to not have any dealings with this individual in the future.

Seph,

Did you see the trunk before the trade?

If so, did you miss those flaws while installing it?

IMO if you traded, even, and quickly found an issue, the guy should swap back.

(Thpugh why you left with it, I do not know!)

It's just What's Fair, simple as that.

Well, we were both freezing. It was last Saturday when it was really windy. I was hurrying, my bad for not inspecting it thoroughly, but its quite obvious that this trunk is not on par with even a "fair" condition trade.

The guy sounds like a do*che. Yeah so you saw it, sounds like it was done in haste a decent person would swap with you.

Especially if he is selling the car anyway. And he obviously doesn't know you are a trained military sniper with post traumatic stress disorder, now working at the post office:bricks:
