Are those Hellas in place of the fogs? I hate you bugeyes...
default_additional_sillylol.gif
yes, thoze appear to be yello Hella 500 fogs...and of course they be busted, too

I had H500s subbing for my bugeye fogs, a nice setup except that I broke 4 lenses in 2 winters. ther's a lot to be said for the stock Lexan bugeye/RS fogs, which can be souped up pretty good with 100w H1 blubs

hey inski do you have a foz suspension laying around? this guy is in need of a lift to put some grabbers on

heyguys remember....that if you upsize tires too much to do lift job, you can screw up gearing/drivability royally

if diameter of new Lifterd Rubba is 10%+ over stock, Bad Bad Things can happen to drivability, esp on an OB Sport that already has the gas sipper 3.90 final drive.

like, your car will reach only be able to reach top speed in 3rd gear.....

no not a mystery, that's how the mysteries of gearing work. with oversize grabber tyres, 5th gear becomes essentially useless. did I mention that the stock gearbox with oversize tyres will suck large donkey danks?

mantra (repaeat after mee) "lift the susp with springs or spacers, not just the tyres"

corollary: "if some is good, more izz not necessarily bettAr"

capisce?

I just might have a set of Fozzy struts
hey i have thought about finding someone who has fozzy struts for sale but i don't know if that will lift it too much and mess up how it drives. I know for sure that the one inch spacers are fine with the obs and putting on general grabber all-terrains. im afraid it will mess up the drivetrain if its too high up...

You might have to do a couple of other slight modifications as well, but it has been done a few times!!!

Lol, my dream first car is a bugeye wagon with fozzy springs or a bugeye OBS.

I feel like it would be a bit wobblier up that high though.
