Suspension slop when turning

So after test driving a handful of 05-07 Imprezas with my little brother, I noticed that more than half of them had this sloppy feeling when you start a turn. Its not a delay in turning the wheels, but more a delay in how the weight settles onto the suspension differently.

Has anybody encountered and fixed this problem? Is it just bushings or is it the springs/struts getting tired?

Usually slow transition speeds are due to worn out components like endlink bushings and such. Also if a strut has failed it will make the front end lean more which can make it seem like the transition takes longer. Be sure to check the tires as well, tires will make or break any car. 

Oh, as for the fix... sways, endlinks, and new springs will smarten up any car.
